Concrete Foreman- Footings and Foundations

Location: Utah County

About us: Nicoha is a premier concrete company based out of Springville, Utah. We specialize in flatwork, tilt-up, footings and foundations, and finish work for commercial and residential buildings. We are experiencing impressive growth and are looking for a Concrete Flatwork Foreman to help maintain and direct future projects.

We work mainly in Salt Lake County and Utah County. This position's schedule varies but is typically Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. You will also be eligible for benefits including health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401k plan with match, and paid time off (PTO)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, talented individual to join our construction company as a Concrete Foreman. As part of our team, you lead crews in the completion of various major concrete projects, always ensuring a safe and efficient workplace. You coordinate tasks for your crews according to current project needs. You will need to train crew members on safety. Our ideal candidate has considerable professional experience in construction, particularly with concrete projects. You must also possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and supervise concrete installations from layout through turnover to the general contractor or owner.
  • Communicate daily plans and goals with other foreman and crew members under his/her supervision.
  • Educate and motivate crew to accomplish goals safely, accurately and efficiently.
  • Supervise workers throughout the shift, ensuring safety, appropriate work stoppages, and organization
  • Evaluate the performance, delegate tasks, and provide guidance to crew members
  • Plan and supervise concrete installations from layout through turnover to the general contractor or owner.
  • Resolve problems with projects, materials, and workers as they arise
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven Concrete Foreman Experience
  • We are looking for someone who has experience with footing and foundations, gang forms and is well-rounded in layout.
  • Experience managing a crew size of around 8 people
  • Willing to work out of town if needed
  • Minimum of three years of concrete experience, including experience in a leadership or supervisory position
  • Detailed knowledge of concrete construction procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Candidates must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening and a Background Check
