Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist I, under the general direction of a radiologist and Radiology Administration is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic, emergency, and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Provides Radiology services to all ages.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Current and valid CRT Permit (California) required.
  • Current and valid Fluoroscopy Permit (California) required.
  • Current and valid American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
  • Current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R) required.
  • Understanding of sterile techniques.
  • Ability to follow protocols. Ability to develop successful relationships with patients and physicians. Can identify areas of concern and take accurate images. Ability to discern emergent situations.

Preferred:

  • One (1) to two (2) years’ experience as a radiologic technologist preferred. 
  • AS in Radiologic Sciences preferred. 
  • ARRT credentials in any of the following (CT) (N) (T) (MR) (S) (M) (QM) (BD) (CV) (CI) (VI) (VS) (BS) preferred.
