Nurse Practitioner- Relief
Position covering youth program in South, Central and Northern areas of New Jersey
$82/hour
Do you love providing great nursing care, knowing you are making a difference in people’s lives? As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide total nursing care to patients under the direction of a physician.

Interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and interpret the patient’s clinical problems and health care needs record physical findings and formulate a plan and prognosis based on the patient’s condition

Discuss the case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan; submit health care plan and goals of the patient for periodic review and evaluation by physician

Ensure that current and complete medical records and reports are in accordance with regulatory and corporate standards, including medication administration records and physicians’ orders
-
Educate patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications
-
Recommend drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures
-
Administer prescribed medications according to established guidelines and approved nursing techniques; provide documentation for all medications given

Participate in quality and process improvement activities to improve individual care and related system
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Nursing with a current NJ state RN license
-
Three years of related experience
-
Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program and current approval by the joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts
-
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Reliable, responsible, and caring nature
