Our client in the automotive sector is seeking a Warehouse Person with Forklift Experience to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the smooth operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician with Forklift Experience

Location: Hayward, CA

Pay Range: $25 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting of facility equipment.

  • Operate a forklift safely and effectively to transport materials and equipment as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

  • Assist with facility projects, including minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.

  • Perform general janitorial duties and ensure the kitchen is stocked and organized.

  • Perform inspections of the building and report any facility or safety issues to management.

  • Keep an organized record of maintenance activities and completed work orders.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including basic repair skills in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

  • Valid forklift certification and practical experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.

  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs.

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues to management.
