Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Job Summary: The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for managing a specific category of products, developing strategies to maximize sales and profitability, and ensuring the category meets customer needs. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication abilities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement category strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and supply chain to optimize product assortment and pricing. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of products. Monitor category performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet business objectives. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to make informed decisions on product selection and merchandising. Prepare and present regular reports on category performance to management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Proven experience in a supply chain role with heavy focus on strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, RFP/Qs, and other related procurement activities Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and category management software.
