DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise felony and misdemeanor cases Direct and/or Transfer status according to TDCJ-CJAD Standards and Rockwall CSCD Policies.
- Conduct Pre-sentence Investigation Reports for the local courts.
- Represent the department in dealing with local, state, and federal agencies in conjunction with casework.
- Possess excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
- Performs any other duties assigned by the Director of the department.
- Applicants must have acquired a Bachelor's Degree conferred by an accredited institution of higher education.
• Past or current employment as a community supervision officer or case management related field is a plus but not mandatory.
SPECIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to work well as a team player.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, county officials, state, municipal, civic organizations and agencies.
- Ability to pass TDCJ-CJAD CSO Certification.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and driving record check.
- Minimum starting salary $50,000.00 or commensurate with experience.
