Leidos is seeking an Electric Distribution Engineering Manager to oversee a team responsible for developing construction work packages for the electric distribution system. This role involves technical oversight, client liaison, project management, and collaboration with design managers. The ideal candidate will have a BS in an Engineering Discipline, 7+ years of relevant experience, and knowledge of NESC and client construction standards. PMP certification and/or PE license are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical oversight for project teams
  • Function as client point of contact and liaison
  • Collaborate with design managers on client issues
  • Oversee capital, reliability, and customer projects
  • Facilitate client and team collaboration
  • Track scope, schedule, and budget for projects
  • Oversee QA/QC for the design team
  • Monitor team performance metrics
  • Track and report financial metrics

Qualifications:

  • BS in an Engineering Discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in electric distribution design engineering
  • Experience leading engineering personnel
  • Knowledge of NESC and client construction standards
  • Project management experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with software such as PoleForeman, Bentley OpenUtilities Designer, GE Smallworld, Maximo, etc.
  • Experience with complex distribution design projects
  • PMP certification and/or PE license
