Job Description:

Cardiovascular Radiology Technician

  • Assists team preparing the lab for procedures, as well as preparing the patient for procedure. Assists the physician during procedures
  • Operates radiological equipment and monitors radiation safety factors. Operates other CV lab related equipment.
  • Has adequate knowledge to approach adults, and geriatric patients for the purpose of required patient care abilities with techniques appropriate to the individual's chronological, emotional, cognitive and physical maturation level.
  • All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program and or interventional Peripheral procedures
  • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
  • Must maintain current Radiologic Operators License for State and ARRT and have a current copy on file with the Hospital.
  • Must be Certified in Basic Arrhythmias and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Must have Current CPR
