Job Summary and Qualifications
In this pivotal role, you will answer to the Director, Vice President, or the Chief Nursing Officer, overseeing patient care delivery throughout each patient's hospitalization. Your responsibilities will span around-the-clock management of patient care, fostering professional nursing practices, and strategic resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a high-performing team, providing leadership and ensuring staffing aligns with patient needs.
- Manage personnel matters including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and motivation of staff to achieve excellence.
- Plan and direct all aspects of patient care on the unit for optimal outcomes consistent with industry standards.
Qualifications Needed:
- Associate Degree in Nursing or a Registered Nurse diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required; 3 years preferred.
- Current Texas RN license.
