Responsibilities

In addition to advanced and innovative patient care offered at USA Health University hospitals and clinics, Whiddon College of Medicine programs provide first-class training experiences for the next generation of physicians, scientists and students. The USA Health System delivers excellence in care while improving the quality of life for residents across the Gulf Coast. The USA Health System is managed by the USA HealthCare Management, LLC.

The Department of Internal Medicine, Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama is looking for a full-time board eligible/board certified primary care/internist team at the Assistant-Associate Professor level. We seek applicants with an understanding of the medical educational, clinical, and administrative issues for internal medicine residents and 1st-4th year medical students at a small medical school. Successful applicants will assist with the residency program needs, provide access for primary care needs to include continuity, wellness, and acute availability and quality improvement programs. There are expectations for career advancement through the academic promotions process.
