Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $51.50-$61 an hour
- The district is looking for multiple full-time in-person SLPs for the 2024-2025 school year.
- The specific hours will depend on the specific caseload and will be determined by the school building’s bell hours.
- The district prefers candidates who are experienced with schools previously but is also open to new grads
- A typical day would be spent working with students at one or possibly two schools in district and would include evals and IEP meetings over the course of the school year
- The district’s Office of Diverse Learners works with students who are Kindergarten through age 21.
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
