  • Non-profit affiliation
  • Seeking a full-time Neurologist (4.0 or 4.5 days/week)
  • Clinical interests/expertise in one or more of the following: headaches, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, extrapyramidal syndrome, stroke, epilepsy, dementia, and EEG s.
  • Will be working at a Hospital and selected outreach clinic sites
  • Office-based general neurology services to new and established patients (adolescents age 16 and older as well as adults)
  • Responsibilities include: medication management, education and counseling of patients and families, ordering diagnostic tests, referral to related other specialties
  • EMR: Meditech Expanse
  • 12 to 16 patients per day. In general, 2 to 4 new patients per day
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
  • Base salary $300,278 for 0.89 FTE, PLUS:
  • Relocation funds/reimbursment
  • Insurances: health, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, life.
  • Retirement plans
  • Professional liability coverage with tail
  • Vacation, 5 weeks per year
  • 5 sick days, 6 holidays per year
  • CME, 2 weeks per year, plus $4,000 CME funds
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • BE/BC Neurologist
  • Prefer candidates who have prior experience (at least 2-5 years) in a broad spectrum of general neurology
  • BLS from American Heart Association
  • Prior experience in a small hospital desired
  • Ability to interpret EEG studies desirable
  • H1-B and J-1 visa candidates will welcome
