Pediatric Nurse

Position Type: Full-time, Temporary

Duration: June 11, 2024 - July 11, 2024

Salary: $38 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual medical attention to pediatric students.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments to students.
• Monitor students' well-being and respond to emergencies.
• Assist students with activities of daily living as necessary.
• Work together with school staff and healthcare professionals to ensure students' safety.
• Provide students, families, and caregivers with education and support.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• Prior experience working with pediatric patients is preferred.
• Experience with suctioning and G-tube management required.
• Excellent clinical skills and ability to respond to medical emergencies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in an independent and team-oriented environment in a school setting.
