Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising project work operations via deck crew Supervise the daily tasks of the rigging crew Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with the established HSES Safety standards and Work practices Ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with all safety and quality requirements Organize and distribute above deck activities for Rigging Crews Continuously monitor rigging equipment being used and remove from service any found defective Ensure only trained personnel from Rigging Department use machinery and equipment Ensure all relevant safety procedures are adhered to with regard to rigging works undertaken by way of TRAs/Permits Following all company policies and procedures, and ensuring subordinates do the same. Essential Qualifications and Education: High school graduate Minimum 4 years experience in offshore construction industry, with a minimum of 2 years as a Rigger Leaderman Previous experience as Rigger Leaderman/Rigger #LI-DNI McDermott is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
