FULL TIME POSITION WITH BENEFITS/40 H0URS A WEEK. MUST HAVE VALID, UNRESTRICTED DRIVERS LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep parts department up-to-date on delivery schedule;
  • Maintain cleanliness of delivery truck;
  • Obeys all traffic laws and follows established traffic procedures;
  • Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures;
  • Observe and report customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion;
  • Fill customer orders and ready them for delivery;
  • Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers;
  • Load Parts trucks in a safe manner, securing all items in the bed of the truck;
  • Retrieve parts returns and report them to Parts Manager or responsible Counter Person;
  • Complete vehicle safety checks per company policy and operates the vehicle within the safety guidelines;
  • Presents bill and receipts and collects payment for goods delivered or loaded;
  • Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores, and vendors.
  • Follow all delivery and pick-up processes and protocol to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Prompt and courteous demeanor;
  • Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving record;
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Must be detail oriented;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed;
  • Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move 100 pounds from floor to waist with assistance;
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals;
  • Proficient computer skills. Ability to use a smart phone or hand-held device;
  • A valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record, per company standards.
