It is our goal to provide our employees with a work environment that promotes professional and personal fulfillment, career development, and job enrichment.Essential Responsibilities/Functions:• Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and production of all data-related activities.• Develop processes, procedures and tools to gather, maintain, and provide monthly and cumulative tracking of financial data.• Proactively review, reconcile, and provide process improvement recommendations for data tracking and manipulation.Required Experience:• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Manager.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:• Understand and be able to practically apply the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act (DATA) of 2014.• Have a working knowledge of Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, Comptroller (OUSD[C]) Advanced Analytics (Advana) Tool.• Ability to analyze and prepare documentation.• Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.• Ability to obtain, analyze, and evaluate complex textual and/or quantitative data in order to make comparisons among alternatives or to make recommendations for corrections or improvements in processes, operations or policies.• Have knowledge about Department of Defense (DoD) policies and directives.• Strong analytical skills, decision-making, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong customer service skills with the ability to establish excellent internal and external customer relationships.Required Education, Licenses and Certifications:• Bachelor’s degree in data sciences or at least 7 years of professional experience as a Data Manager in lieu of a degree.Security Clearance Requirements:Active Secret ClearanceBenefits/Perks:• Medical, vision, and dental insurance• 401(k)• Paid Holidays• Professional development and tuition reimbursement programs• Paid time off• Health Spending Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, Accident Insurance, Hospital Insurance, and Critical Illness Insurance• Team building events• Professional growth opportunities• Performance awardsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily.
