Description: Our client is looking to fill a Desktop Support Technician for their Statesville site. Candidates will provide assistance and support for incoming tickets through walk up, email, and service desk related to computer systems, software, and hardware. They will support all internal users on site at, and occasionally help with level 1 support for incoming calls and tickets from the helpdesk. They will also be able to work on the infrastructure side - basic routers and switches. There are several buildings across the campus, a mix of manufacturing and office. This team sits in an office space but will walk a mile or more per day through the buildings, providing a range of troubleshooting and repairs based on ticket load. The ticketing system is ServiceDesk Plus. 45-50 tickets a week. Zebra printer jams, imaging, troubleshooting, escorting vendors, maintenance. First level support for production systems- reboots, troubleshooting, network check. Candidates should have strong computer knowledge and hardware troubleshooting abilities as well as the ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, management, and business contacts professionally. Good communication is a huge part of this position. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with all end users as well as co-workers, executives, and associates in a professional manner. This candidate should also have strong organizational skills, they must be able to work well with a team, and they must have the ability to learn and pick up new software applications quickly. Technical Requirements: Hardware and software troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory PC Imaging using SCCM or WDS Printer troubleshooting - thermal printer experience is a plus Skills: windows, support, customer service, o365, Printers, technical support, help desk support, Desktop, Office 365, Active Directory, Windows 10, OneDrive, OneNote, Helpdesk, SCCM, WDS, Imaging, Troubleshooting, hardware, outlook Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with thermal printers would be great, as well as prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Good communication is a huge part of this position. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with all end users as well as co-workers, executives, and associates in a professional manner. This candidate must also have strong organizational skills, they must be able to work well with a team, and they must have the ability to learn and pick up new software applications quickly.
