Complete all assignments given by the department coordinator and requests from other faculty in a timely manner. Assist in inventory and equipment requisitions, as assigned. May be required to work a split-shift, days being the primary shift. Knowledge and experience in electronics assembly, thru-hole, surface-mount technologies, IPC certification, instrumentation, circuits, troubleshooting and repair. Experience with assisting with technical training in the Electronics field. Experience with computer-based training and assessment applications. Experience with competency-based open-entry/open-exit individualized training for adult student programs. Experience working with diverse background populations. Attention to detail, excellent documentation and maintenance of individualized records of student performance. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Ability to work without close supervision in a team with diverse membership. Ability to take initiative and resolve problems. Ability to work within a prescribed curriculum and departmental procedures while maintaining patience, creativity, and cooperative attitude. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.10. Excellent attendance record and attitude.
