Job Summary:

Plan and schedule long-range and short-range manufacturing processes for Remediation Field Work product lines as requested.

Duties and Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

  1. Maintain material forecasts that support the customer manufacturing requirement.
  2. Maintain scheduling spreadsheets and production charts.
  3. Maintain accurate lead time data by communication with purchasing and/or manufacturing.
  4. Assist in the detection of transaction control errors and make recommendations for corrective action.
  5. Supply data to the production team on material availability and/or conditions affecting production continuity.
  6. Monitor inventory levels to meet planned inventory goals.
  7. Develop and issue materials and parts requisitions.
  8. Run shortage reports and work with purchasing to ensure parts are available to meet production demands.
  9. Analyze capacity requirements and provide input to the production planning manager and production supervisor to resolve the issue or escalate as needed to ensure on-time deliveries
  10. Utilize ERP system to generate assembly work orders.
  11. Release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse for marshaling.
  12. Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages.
  13. Coordinate/expedite assembly build plans to ensure schedules are achieved.
  14. Work with management in coordinating and planning production activities to improve runtime.
  15. Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders.
  16. Develop and review production plan with Managers for approval.
  17. Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. Prior experience as a planner in the industry preferred
  2. Good understanding of the market trends and conditions
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  5. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Proficient Microsoft Office user
  7. Oracle Software user
  8. MRP experience preferred

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • 4-year Degree or relevant work experience- planning and manufacturing.
