Our Adult Cardiac Cath Lab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join our team. This role involves working 40 hours per week, primarily during the day shift.

Our Cath and EP Lab is equipped with high-tech ultrasound and state-of-the-art Imaging and Anesthesia equipment, where complex structural heart cases are performed. The lab also performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for adult and pediatric patients under the supervision of our Medical Director.

The successful candidate will have a range of responsibilities, including implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and tests, and documenting treatment as required. They will also play a key role in ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests, assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to care, and creating Plans of Care in collaboration with the nursing team. Additionally, this role involves directing and guiding ancillary personnel and maintaining professional nursing standards.

  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and special tests.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create Plans of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards.
