Principle Business Intelligence Developer

The Principal Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer will drive data-informed decision-making within the Organization. This role is critical in fostering a data-driven culture by collaborating with organization leaders and teams to provide actionable insights and impactful data visualizations. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled BI developer who excels in designing and implementing advanced data reporting and visualization solutions. The analyst will focus on data gathering, report development, and actionable interpretation of information to support strategic goals, key operations, and executive decision-making. This role also includes mentoring peers and setting a high standard of excellence in analytics. NO C2C or third party candidates will be accepted for this role. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including executives, clinical staff, and external stakeholders, to develop comprehensive BI solutions. Create, design, and maintain routine and ad hoc reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction and transformation. Ensure data accuracy and quality by leveraging statistical concepts and relational database expertise. Build and manage data visualizations to present complex information in a user-friendly manner. Provide clear and actionable insights through effective communication and presentation to diverse audiences. Lead initiatives to improve data reporting processes and establish best practices for analytics across the organization. Mentor and guide peers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical skill enhancement. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a healthcare or business setting. Extensive hands-on experience with SQL (6+ years). Expertise in Epic systems for reporting and analytics. Proven track record in BI tool development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Advanced skills in Excel and experience with relational databases. Experience in EMR report development and programming languages. Strong statistical analysis background. Technical Skills: Expert in building interactive data visualizations and dashboards. Proficiency in relational database development and management. Familiarity with enterprise databases or shared data repositories. Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service focus and active listening capabilities. Proven ability to present complex data insights to diverse audiences effectively. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Applied Science is required. Schedule Notes: Hybrid work model: Tuesday and Thursday in-office with flexibility for remote work. Focused on development, not analysis.
