Job Title: Piping Apprentice - Commercial Construction Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as a Piping Apprentice for projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn learn and develop your skills in the Piping trade while providing high-quality installs to our commercial clients. As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced mechanics and leaders, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in commercial Piping systems and the installation process involved with new construction projects. Responsibilities: Assist experienced Piping Mechanics in installing systems in commercial buildings. Learn and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others. Gather, retrieve, deliver, and organize material in specific job site areas. Ability to read a tape measure Ability to use hands to control tools Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and lifts Ability to work in cramped and awkward spaces at times Great personality, positive attitude, sense of humor, and a tremendous work ethic Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Vocational school or prior training preferred. Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts. Strong interest in the trade and a desire to learn and develop new skills. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety and following established protocols. Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
