INTERA is looking for a motivated intern to spend Summer 2025 with our talented team of geoscience and engineering professionals in our Richland, Washington office (winner of a 2024 Best Places to Work award in the Mid-Columbia region). So, if you're a capable individual seeking a hands-on learning experience and eager to contribute to projects and solutions that make a true impact, join us this coming summer We will be accepting applications until the close of business on January 17, 2025. *Internship Description * In this 10-week program, our interns will work closely with INTERA scientists and engineers to support INTERA projects. A key responsibility of this position is to help us update and document our POSTAL software which automates the use of the US EPA's ProUCL code to support our risk assessment needs. This internship will be mentored by a successful, experienced programmer. *Required Qualifications * Currently working towards a college degree in computer science/engineering Trained in programming language C# Familiar with object-oriented programming (GUI development experience a plus) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Completed coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, and statistics are desirable Expected Salary Range: $20 per hour *About INTERA * Founded in 1974, INTERA has grown into an international geoscience and engineering consulting firm that helps clients make informed business decisions, mitigate risk, and drive optimal outcomes in a multitude of industries.
