Description

Job Summary: The Liaison Administrator provides communication with insurance agents regarding subcontractor insurance compliance details, and administrative support to General Counsel by conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical support related to legal cases. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the subcontractor agreement process to include Worker's Compensation (W/C) and General Liability Certificate of Insurance (COI) requirements.
  • Serve as administrative and communication liaison between subcontractors and insurance carriers to ensure appropriate coverages are met and subcontractors are treated fairly.
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of documents and reports and act as a resource for compiling internal documentation related to legal cases.
  • Support process of Vendor Agreement/Builder Contract edits and communications.
  • Communicate professionally with subcontractors and insurance carriers to resolve coverage discrepancies and assist with collection efforts.
  • Prepare monthly reports for distribution to Branch and Regional Managers.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with contracts and general legal principles as they relate to insurance
  • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
  • Bi-Lingual English/Spanish required
Education and Experience
  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent relatable experience
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Monday Board strongly desired
  • Previous paralegal experience a plus

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform moderate office tasks
  • Light to moderate lifting up to 15 pounds, pushing and pulling abilities
