Position Description:

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the assistant professor level.

Join a growing academic psychiatry department/division and a rich group practice in Southeastern Wisconsin with a multi-disciplinary team that includes academic psychiatrists, nurses, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and other ancillary staff.

Opportunity

  • Provide expert child and adolescent psychiatric care and consultation to patients and providers on the Children's Wisconsin's in-patient units.
  • Join an experienced and growing hospital in-patient consult liaison service team.
  • Teach and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students rotating on the consult/liaison service.
  • Academic position that requires a combination of patient care, teaching, research, and administrative activities necessary for the function of the department/division.
  • Join a family-friendly department/division with a highly collegial work environment that offers excellent quality of life
  • System wide integrated Epic EMR system
  • Strong referral system with an already established patient base
Children's Specialty Group

A multi-specialty academic group practice with over 600 providers that provides specialty services at Children's Wisconsin and 22 ambulatory clinic locations across Wisconsin and beyond.
