Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

20-26$ Paid sick time, Medical,vision,dental benefits

Monday-Friday 8 hour morning shifts, flexible

  • Prepare patients for examination, including weight, blood pressure, urine dipstick, hemoglobin, pap smear, and urine pregnancy tests.
  • Assist with minor procedures such as hysteroscopy, endo biopsy, punch biopsy, and laminaria.
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance, sterilization, and ordering of parts and supplies.
  • Maintain pap smear control log and communicate results to patients.
  • Respond to pharmacy refill inquiries and document in EMR.
  • Stock examination areas with supplies and reconcile packing slips.
  • Perform quality assurance for Hemacue machine and communicate issues to the Assistant Nurse Manager.
  • Conduct urine pregnancy tests and document in EMR.


Must haves:

Medical Assistant Diploma & MA experience

Phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy cert

BLS
