Job Description:

This is not a need for just a RCIS. We need special procedure techs that have ARRT RT(R) and an IEMA license to run the camera
We are looking for someone who can work in coronary and peripheral cases, including but not limited to CTO, carotid stenting, , and complex peripheral intervention. The tech also needs to be able to use Phillips, Siemens, and Cannon (formerly Toshiba) x-ray equipment. (IL IEMA license for radiologic technologist) Structural experience would be a plus.
I would love someone with some EP experience as well. Even if it is just to help scrub ablations.
We work 4x10hour shifts(0700-1730), one weekday of call, every fourth weekend of call with the option to pick up additional call.

What You Will Do:
Role Specific Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
Utilizes PACS and EMR systems
Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.
Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency
Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.
Performs office duties as needed.
Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.
