Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Clarksville TN 37040 LPN Gtube Dependent Patient M-F 4p-9p Sat & Sun 7a-7p Clarksville TN 37042 LPN Trach and Vent Dependent Patient Mon-Fri 8a-6p Clarksville TN 37043 LPN Gtube, and Total Care Patient Part Time 3 Days a Week (Client is Flexible with Scheduling 7a-7p Clarksville TN 37042 LPN Gtube, Trach and Vent Dependent Patient Monday-Thursday 8a-6p Clarksville TN 37042 LPN Gtube Dependent Patient Monday-Friday 10a-6p
Part time is welcome. We will work with your current schedule.
Responsibilities
-
Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
-
Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
-
Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
-
Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.
-
Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.

Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor including establishing priorities.

Other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the state of Virginia or compact.
-
Current Health Certificate (per facility).
-
Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
-
Current BLS card.
-
One year prior Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.
