Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Attend to new admissions, medical clearances, and assess for medical stability. Clarify any
    urgent medical issues with nursing.
  • Assess and treat clients' medical conditions in need of medical care and treatment.
  • Timely completion of documentation (may include assessments, treatment plans, progress
    and group notes, discharge summary) according to established standards.
  • Work closely with other members of the treatment team.
  • Attend and participate in required staff meetings and trainings.
  • Share in the on-call duty responsibilities.
  • Facilitate and assist with the infection prevention and control program throughout the facility.
  • Implement the program by formulating, establishing, and evaluating policies and procedures
    relating to client care infection.
  • Maintains excellent communications with other members of the clinical team, outpatient providers, and family members.
  • If required by state law, performs services within a supervisory or collaborative environment, including maintaining requirements of Physician Supervision Agreements or Physician Collaboration Agreements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in nursing from an accredited institution is required.
  • Licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the state in which you are applying to provide services.
  • Current DEA license.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience working with adolescents or young adults, as applicable, is required.
  • Experience working with clients in a residential or psychiatric treatment environment preferred.
