We are searching for a talented RN Emergency

*UP TO $12,000 NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS*

Hours: 32hrs

Shift: Evening Shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm with weekend & holiday rotations

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Welcome to the Emergency Department at St. Luke's Hospital We have earned official designation as a Level II Adult Trauma Center. Our trauma center is the first of its kind in the region. Our RNs have access to new technologies, professional development resources, and an engaged leadership team. We partner with pediatricians from Boston Children's Hospital to provide specialized care in the emergency room and pediatric unit. This position is primarily for our Behavioral Health Unit, RN will float out into the main ED based on the needs of the unit.

  • $12,000 New Hire Sign On with 3+ years of RN ED experience
  • $9,600 New Hire Sign On with 1-3 years of RN ED experience
  • $8,000 New Hire Sign On with 1+ years of Hospital RN Experience OR Less than 1 year RN ED experience
  • Rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • ACLS/PALS and Safety certification required within 6 months of hire
  • 1 year of ED or behavioral health RN experience preferred.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired


Pay Range

USD $38.81 - USD $67.58 /Hr.
