Location:Durham NC only

Required Skills:

  1. Java 8 development experience with Spring/Springboot - we will be upgrading from Java 8 - someone who is building microservices/api's from scratch in their project

  2. Experience modernizinng AngularJS web apps to modern day versions of Angular

  3. Experience with web services - JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.

  4. Used to working with automated pipelines using Jenkins 5) Working in 2-week agile sprints with flexible production installs

Education

  • Bachelor or any equivalent degree with computer science background or related discipline.

Skills

  • Expert level systems analysis experience in business critical, sophisticated applications. Knowledge of Asset Management would be a huge advantage, with a background in business facing tooling.

  • Sophisticated analysis expertise of end-to-end processes, using tools and techniques for communicating and analyzing data including, rest API technologies, SQL, JSON, Postman/Insomnia

  • Current hands-on experience writing SQL queries and joining multiple data sets. Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle and non-SQL databases strongly preferred.

  • Data-driven and can measure, collect, and use data to make decisions. We understand the value of intuition and the need to balance decisions accordingly.

  • Highly analytical and can assess magnitude and impact of the work, down to the story level.

  • strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills including written, verbal, and technology illustrations.

  • Knowledge of basic Java within the development ecosystem or similar technologies is a plus.

  • strong written and verbal and communication skills with technical expertise to drive outcomes and impactfully influence others.

  • Expertise in defining test cases at the right level of detail and define test cases and ensure acceptance criteria matches real business value - i.e., ensure we are testing the right things.

  • Passion to provide guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to the other Systems Analysts as our team grows.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, with a focus on AWS, including familiarity with cloud migration strategies and tools.
