Who we are

Maple Hills Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dedicated veterinary receptionist to add to our team of compassionate professionals who aim to provide high-quality veterinary care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls, address client inquiries, and provide accurate information regarding services, pricing, and procedures.
  • Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and processing payments.
  • Maintain organized and accurate electronic medical records.
  • Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care.
  • Keep the reception area and waiting room clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a veterinary setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and staff
  • Understands pronunciation, spelling, and meaning of commonly used veterinary terminology
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and veterinary management software (experience with Cornerstone software a plus).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for animals and a desire to contribute to their well-being.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Proficient in handling money and processing payments
Hospital Hours: Mon/Wed/Thu: 8am-7pm
Tue/Fri: 8am-6pm
Sat: 8am-1pm
Sun: Closed

Starting Pay: $15-$17 based on experience.
