Los Gatos Therapy Center is a patient-focused, dynamic, rapidly growing, private psychiatric group specializing in the treatment of ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, and other behavioral issues. Our group has well-developed administrative support functions and we are in network with all insurance plans as we strive to provide a real continuity of care for our patients. We have two outpatient locations in Campbell and Sunnyvale.

We provide psychiatric consultations, psychotherapy, and medication management for children, adults, and seniors and we are seeking to meet the growing demand from our community.

Seeking a motivated individual who would work part time in our eating disorder residential and other ED programs, as well as work in our outpatient clinic seeing patients who have graduated from the ED programs and other general psychiatry. This position requires a candidate willing to rotate working on-call at the ED Residential program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initial evaluations
  • Follow-up consultations: evaluation and management of mental health disorders with supporting psychotherapy
  • Collaboration within the group and coordination of care with other participants of the patient’s treatment teams
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Completion of a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program (PMHP)
  • ANCC Accreditation (PMHNP-BC) a must.
  • Eating Disorder experience is essential.
  • Residential treatment experience is mandatory.
  • An individual Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license issued by the United States DEA for Schedule II-V controlled substances
  • No disciplinary actions of any kind
  • No past or pending malpractice lawsuits
