Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.
  • Work in tandem within Development Department primarily with Chief Development Officer, VP Real Estate and Sr. Dir of Real Estate to oversee the development, planning and execution of Fogo's real estate strategy and market development initiatives.

    Analytical Research:
  • Manage third party analytics service providers.
  • Leverage this data to inform overall real estate development strategy, providing insights and analytics to drive decisions in implementing, managing and executing this strategy.
  • Utilize and improve statistical, analog and financial models developed internally for sales demand forecasting, competitive analysis and site selection.
  • Utilize GIS platform for analysis and visual presentation and maintenance of existing restaurant base, development pipeline, future development potential, buildout scenarios, cannibalization, etc. in helping drive future development decisions.
  • Analyze Fogo restaurant sales performance of existing and new restaurants to continually validate demand model and sales transfer / impact implications.

    Market & Competitive Research:
  • Monitor competitor patterns, economic and demographic trends, staying informed of changes in the restaurant real estate industry and the competitive environment tracking data to report to leadership and to drive development decision making and execution of Fogo's growth strategy.

    Site Acquisition Analysis:
  • Assist in updating and maintaining development pipeline status reporting. Work with development team (including outside broker partners) to accumulate field market due diligence on sites for presentation to leadership team when considering new locations for development, capital planning and portfolio optimization.
  • Lead and manage site development package assembly including demographic, analog and pro forma financial analysis, letters of intent, area maps, site photos, construction budgets, sales forecast, etc.
  • Coordinate internal development package review with leadership team.
  • Assist in acquisition of locations for the development of profitable restaurants while meeting strategic initiatives.
  • Work with VP and Sr Dir of Real Estate in the site acquisition process negotiating letters of intent and deal economics.

  • Strong interest in restaurant real estate development
  • Excellent problem-solving analysis and demonstrated ability to analyze data and trends in a systematic way to inform, find alternatives and project possible consequences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education, Experience & Travel Required
  • 5 + years of experience in Real Estate development w/ a minimum of 2 years for restaurant company
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Urban Planning or another associated field.
  • Limited travel, as needed.
  • This is an on-site job based in Dallas, TX.


Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office / Excel / PowerPoint and ability to leverage effectively

Proficiency with statistical software and GIS (can grow proficiency of this role)

Physical Demands
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, travel by automobile and airplane, and stand prolong work hours when necessary. Must have a high level of endurance and mental acuity and toughness to manage conflict and deal successfully with high stress situations.

Compensation

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance are available for full-time, hourly Team Members on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
