Ready Mix Driver

A leading building material company is seeking multiple drivers for their plant in Elizabethtown, PA. Candidates will be responsible for hauling ready mix concrete in a front-end mixer truck and delivering concrete to commercial contractors. Mixer Drivers will also be responsible for laying concrete to the correct measurements and answer any questions clients may have.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Loading and mixing: Loading the truck with cement and mixing the concrete before the job
  • Delivering concrete: Driving the truck to construction sites and pouring concrete based on job specifications
  • Cleaning and maintaining company vehicle and after each delivery, and performing other maintenance tasks
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections, including tire pressure, brakes, air pressure, fluid levels, and lights
  • Attaching extension chutes to the end of the primary chute
  • Working in various conditions: Working in a variety of settings and conditions, including uneven ground, mud, and ice
Required Skills:
  • CDL B License
  • 2+ years of dump truck driving experience.
The pay range for this position is $23 - $28 per hour and includes health and dental benefits, 401k, and PTO.
