Job Description: MLee Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Northeast Vermont. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory disorders. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and providing high-quality respiratory care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic tests to assess lung function and oxygenation levels.
  • Administer therapeutic treatments and medications to patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilator settings for patients requiring respiratory support.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments and progress.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree from AMA approved program for Respiratory Care
  • Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligibility to take the NBRC written examination within one year of hire
  • State of Vermont Respiratory Therapy Licensure
  • At least one year of work history as a Respiratory Therapist in hospital setting
  • BLS, ACLS and NRP certification preferred
