$48.28 - $72.41 an hour - Full Time, Days. 40 hours a week.
+$2.50 for weekend shifts.

Boulder Community Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife who manages women's health care, focusing particularly on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, care of the newborn, and the family planning and gynecologic needs of women.

Qualifications
• Graduate of an approved and accredited program for Nurse Midwifery
• Advanced Practice Nurse licensed to practice in the state of Colorado
• Certified Nurse Midwife
• BLS certified within conditional period of employment.
• One year of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife

Responsibilities
• Provides direct prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum patient services and primary care to low risk and at-risk obstetrical and gynecological patients, using general accepted standards of practice, which includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment consultation and co-management of at-risk patients, and referral when appropriate to either MD (Medical Doctor)/DO (Doctor of Osteopathy) only management.
• Assists with the follow-up care of referrals and provides the appropriate information to the referral source.
• Provides inpatient care for obstetrical patients in accordance with hospital protocols for Certified Nurse Midwife care.
• Participates in call rotation per individual contract obligation and with MD/DO backup.
• Understands and runs laboratory instrumentation.
• Performs laboratory tests and procedures as directed
