Occupational Therapist - OT - School AnOccupational Therapist is needed for a elementary school-based position in Manchester, NH This position offers full-time scheduling, Monday through Friday, 35 hours weekly for the duration of the 2024 - 2025 school year. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of recent pediatric/school-based experience, excel in independent time management and a fast-paced environment, be proficient in evaluations, and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities for this Occupational Therapist opportunity include, but are not limited to: Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations Conduct assessments to evaluate students' sensory, motor, cognitive, and psychosocial development Collaborate with other educational professionals to gather information on students' academic performance and participation Set specific and measurable occupational therapy goals to address students' unique challenges Provide interventions to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and activities of daily living Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapeutic activities into the classroom environment Address sensory integration challenges through activities and interventions that promote self-regulation and attention in the classroom JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST: Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Successful completion of the National Certification Examination 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years Valid OT license in Florida CareerStaff Unlimited, LLC ("CareerStaff"), an affiliate of ShiftMed, is a renowned industry leader in healthcare staffing, managed services, and workforce solutions.
