While no experience is required, your dedication and commitment to being on time, reliable, trainable and accountable in the role of Medial Cardiovascular Technician are a must A Cardiovascular Technician uses special technology to create images or perform tests that help physicians assess and diagnose medical conditions and perform medical procedures. Their duties include operating imaging equipment to create diagnostic images or perform tests, preparing patients for and monitoring them during cardiovascular medical procedures, and analyzing and reviewing images and records to support a range of duties required by physicians and surgeons. They are primarily responsible for operating special imaging equipment to assess patients before, during and after medical procedures pertaining to the heart and lungs. Their daily duties include: *Cardiovascular Technician Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * • Briefing patients on medical procedures and interviewing them in regard to medical history • Preparing and operating diagnostic imaging equipment to create images or perform medical tests • Analyzing tests and images to create summarized reports for physicians • Recording and organizing patient medical records • Monitoring patient's blood pressure and heart rate during open-heart surgery and pacemaker or stent insertions • Performing electrocardiogram tests to monitor a patient's heart performance • Preparing patients for medical procedures by performing necessary shaving or cleansing of a surgical area You will be trained, coached and evaluated on your motivation and proficiency during your 90-day probation period on the following duties as required: Hours are 9:00am-5:00, no weekends or holidays, starting wages 15.00 No medical, vision or dental benefits are offered currently.
