The Corporate Membership & Healthy Living Coordinator is accountable for delivering exemplary membership experience and for handling customer-related services. This position works alongside the Corporate Membership & Healthy Living Director to provide a seamless transition for corporate partners and members, from the point of enrollment to the long-term relationship development and retention of the partner and their members.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Assists with all corporate membership and healthy lifestyles department strategies and initiatives.
  • Key responsibilities with Corporate/Group Membership include assistance membership sales, member service, and member retention strategies.
  • Key responsibilities for Healthy Living include assistance with health & wellness programs, group exercise classes (land & water), equipment maintenance and care of facilities, and personal & group training.
  • This Coordinator assists with leading the development, growth, and retention of our membership and wellness programs. This position works to meet the needs of members and the community through program and event execution.
  • The Corporate Membership and Healthy Living Coordinator role works under the direct supervision of the Corporate Membership & Healthy Living Director to provide quality service and communication to the members, assist members along their journeys to improved well-being, and ensure an excellent membership experience for all.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:
  • Ensures the Branch meets the needs of members and the community by implementing membership programs, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Ensures that the Health & Wellness goals are met. Keep in mind the Strategic Advantages of: YMCA Values, Community-Based Branches, Equity and Inclusion, and Multi-Generational service. Utilizes the association Strategy Plan in operational decision making. Understands the association Strategic Priorities including the Community Impact areas of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Skills/Knowledge:
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft office programs, and excellent personal computer experience.
  • Ability to operate and train in SGA Pulse and other systems such as MotionVibe, Welld Health, etc.
  • Knowledge of conducting and implementing safe and effective programs and events.
  • Knowledge of general health and wellness.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, well organized and multi-tasked oriented.
Education/Training:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Group Exercise Instructor or Personal Trainer.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid required. (Training provided by the Y, if needed)


Salary Description

$14.00 - $25.00/hour depending on exp & certs
