Job Title: Assembler Job Description Seeking assemblers to build modular solar units according to SOPs and blueprints. You will work on a line with a team of five assemblers building the frame and structural components for each section of the unit and then will lock in the solar panel into each portion of the frame. The units fold up accordion style and will be strapped in for shipment. You will use a job crane to move the material and frame, and hand tools, power tools, and air tools to assemble the units. Responsibilities Build modular solar units according to SOPs and blueprints. Work on a line with a team of five assemblers. Construct the frame and structural components for each section of the unit. Lock in the solar panel into each portion of the frame. Ensure units fold up accordion style and strap them in for shipment. Operate a job crane to move materials and frames. Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools to assemble units. Essential Skills 5+ years of assembly experience 3+ years of heavy assembly experience (assembling units, heavy packages, etc.) Ability to read blueprints Proficient in using air tools and power tools Experience operating overhead cranes Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with assembly line and production processes Proficiency in using torque tools and understanding mechanical schematics Why Work Here? The position is an 8-month contract until July, with a high likelihood of extension based on future work. Day shift from 7am-3:30pm, with potential early start at 6am if needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pasadena, Texas.
