The Azure DevOps Engineer is an important role at Shield and one you will find rewarding if you enjoy delivering products with a team and in an environment dedicated to deploying and managing applications and resources with high availability, performance, and security. Shield Compliance is seeking to fill the DevOps Engineer role which, while having a focus on data integrations, will oversee cloud resources and deployments that support our suite of tools and applications. The candidate we are looking for will have a keen eye for detail and ability to communicate complex ideas and strategies effectively across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on Architecture Strategies
  • Plan and Provision Cloud Resources
  • Design, Test and Manage Azure Data Factory pipelines
  • Administer Snowflake instance
  • Manage Task Hubs for Durable Functions
  • Manage Code Repos, Pipelines and Deployments
  • Maintain and Oversee Development Standards
  • Manage Access Controls for application development
  • Oversee Application Security Strategies
  • Business Continuity Plan Support
  • Design and Implement an Instrumentation strategy
  • Collaborate on Test Automation
  • Assist with Development Resource Allocations
  • Maintain Documentation in Confluence
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Skills and Experience

  • 2-3 years minimum Azure DevOps experience
  • Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
  • Experience in Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Intermediate+ skills in Azure Data Factory
  • Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps and related tools
  • Proficiency in Azure Portal, Power Shell, Azure CLI, and ARM Templates
  • Experience with PowerBi is a plus
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
