The ideal applicant must have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and a current LCSW or LMHC license. If you're interested in advancing your mental health career, apply today Responsibilities: • Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care • Offer community resources or specialists to patients and family members who are experiencing difficulties • Use patient medical information, interviews, observation, and testing as well as collaboration with other staff members to determine a patient’s mental health status • Develop specific therapy plans with goals and objectives for individual patients • Provide crisis intervention as needed Qualifications: • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills • State licensure that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or equivalent • Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications • This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in a field such as counseling or social work; we prefer a master’s degree • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist • Current and unrestricted NYS license as an LCSW Compensation: $45 - $60 hourly
