Job Description
We're looking for LVNs that can thrive in a variety of settings We provide supplemental staffing to Nursing Homes, Home Health Agencies, and County Hospitals. Our nurses may be required to work in a charge positions depending on facility requirements.

Job duties may include:

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, provides nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations, and supervises the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff in the delivery of direct resident care
  • Managing and analyzing patient care following admission/readmission; conducting initial assessment for newly admitted or readmitted patients
  • Assisting in creating and implementing care plans that address individual residents' needs
  • Administering medications, IV therapy, gastronomy tube management, wound care, and other relevant responsibilities
  • Monitoring residents and communicating changes to physicians
  • Ensuring appropriate documentation of resident care and maintaining medical records to ensure safe, efficient and therapeutic care to residents
  • Troubleshooting and investigating complaints, taking necessary action to resolve problems as necessary
Requirements
  • Holds a current LVN/LPN license in good standing
  • One year experience preferred
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certified
  • BLS (AHA) required
