Custodian

Job Summary: General janitorial services, including cleaning common areas, foyers, offices, restrooms, elevators, walkways, windows, hand-rails, entrances, stairs, drinking fountains, trash removal, dusting and other assigned items/areas.We have two positions available with preference of afternoon to early evening work hours, but flexible based upon the right candidate. Responsibilities: Responsible for basic cleaning and janitorial use of equipment, cleaning chemicals and tools Restroom cleaning involves restocking paper products in dispensers, trash removal, sanitize and clean fixtures, mirror cleaning, clean partition doors and walls, sweep and mop floors, and clean toilets and urinals Move tables and chairs, vacuum, reposition furniture, trash removal and replace trash liners Monitor and remove all trash from containers General cleaning includes dust mopping floors, sweeping, vacuuming, gum removal, dusting, floor scrubbing use of small machinery Performs additional cleaning duties as requested, including janitorial closets, spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom incidents Retain and restock carts and closets, as cleaning requires Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience, in a related work experience Independent worker and highly self-motivated for a fast pace environment Strong communication skills and decision making skills Work Requirements: Must be willing to work assigned hours Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays Max hours: 20 hours per week, average 4 hours per work day Compensation: Pay: $18 per hour, no benefits Personal paid time off and one-week paid vacation, after 90 day probation period First Baptist Church of Ozark offers a competitive salary based upon work experience with a work environment that makes a meaningful difference.
