We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our team. Ideal candidates will have experience in public accounting and possess strong skills in preparing federal, state, and property tax returns, with exposure to income tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and property tax returns accurately and timely.
  • Assist in preparing income tax returns under supervision.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisions.
  • Maintain compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Top Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting or related field.
  • Public accounting experience highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
