Position Title: Senior Engineer, Data: R-043233
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 per year
Location: 1055 LPL Way, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
Telecommuting: Employee may be able to telecommute, but the employee must remain living within a commutable distance of a specific LPL office location and report to that office regularly.
JOB DUTIES: Develops and supports custom Business Intelligence (BI) development tools. Performs responsibilities in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including: developing requirements, conducting analysis, developing Tableau reporting, testing software and providing technical support. Executes the development of Tableau reports. Integrates Tableau Server with BOX Drive for automation requests. Develops DevOps automation for Tableau, with the goal of making it more seamless for multiple development teams across the firm. Works internally and with clients to review defects and perform development and Quality Assurance (QA). Employee may be able to telecommute, but the employee must remain living within a commutable distance of a specific LPL office location and report to that office regularly.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Engineer, Data (or related occupation) installing, configurating and supporting Business Intelligence development tools, including: Tableau.
Alternatively, Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Engineer, Data (or related occupation) installing, configurating and supporting Business Intelligence development tools, including: Tableau.
Must also possess the following:
- Demonstrated Expertise (DE) building and supporting custom enterprise-wide Business Intelligence (BI) development tools - Tableau, supporting the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) -- requirements, analysis, Tableau reporting, testing and support; and executing the development of Tableau reports in 10.5.x, 2020.x, and 2021.x.
- DE integrating Tableau Server with BOX Drive for automation requests; developing DevOps automation for Tableau, and conducting data analysis and design activities to execute development solution.
- DE developing functional models - SAP, SD, MM, FICO, WM and PP; and delivering SAP ABAP end to end implementation and support.
- DE using Tableau BI Product Suite and Rest API web service to perform user provisioning, performance management, and upgrades; conducting user and infra administration activities using Github, AWS Glue, DBT technologies and Snowflake Cloud Warehouse; and executing data extraction using SQL.
$130,000-$140,000
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
