Zing Recruiting is partnered with the lighting division of a global manufacturer in the Kenosha/Zion area in seeking an experience Electrical Engineer to join the engineering team. The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the development, support, and coordination of new projects for Solid-State Lighting. **Pay is Commensurate with Experience**

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new products including design, cost, performance, and schedule.
  • Design PCBs for lighting products.
  • Identify and support Research and Development projects.
  • Participate in cost reduction projects applicable to department and projects.
  • Technical Resource for the purchasing team.
  • Assist with training junior engineers to develop the full team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable subject Required.
  • 2+ years in an Electrical Engineering Role.
  • Working knowledge of PCB Design software
