Job Title : WS SRE
Location : Atlanta/ Chicago/ Remote
Position Type : Contract
US Citizen, Green Card, TN, GC EAD and H4 EAD only No Third-party agencies corp to corp.
Responsibilities
  • Hands on doer, 12+ years of experience with at least 5+ years of Public cloud transformation & DevOps, Provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers
  • Trusted technical advisor on all matters related to public cloud, containerization & modernization
  • You'll work in a highly collaborative environment alongside cross-functional teams, client teams and Partners (AWS, etc).
  • Maintain an understanding of advancing cloud capabilities, IT and business needs, while identifying and proposing cost and functional efficiency options for the customer's collaborative decisions and actions.
  • Analyzing application portfolios, identifying dependencies & common infrastructure platform components, and assessing migration feasibility.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of large-scale public cloud implementations and make strong contributions to design & architecture. Establish Cloud & DevOps CoE for our large enterprise customers to ensure successful transformation and adoption
  • Assess the Customers' knowledge of cloud platform and overall cloud readiness to support the customers through a structured development plan and ensure its delivery
  • Generating public cloud migration roadmaps and blueprints.
  • Fully conversant with Designing Disaster Recovery Strategies and Plans
  • Educate customers on best practices & value proposition to ensure solutions are designed up to world class standards
  • Participate and contribute to development of engineering accelerators.
  • Ability to help develop and implementsecurity measures related to the development process and mentors and coaches other members of the agile team
WS Specific
  • 5 + years AWS Architecture experience is highly desirable, deep expertise in some/multiple AWS domains (Data, Infra, Networking, Security, DevOps, Kubernetes, etc)
  • Experience with setting up landing zone using AWS Control Tower is a must
  • AWS Solution Architect Professional certification is highly desirable
  • Demonstrate experience of various AWS infrastructure, services and their limitations
  • Have implemented a DevOps model on AWS
Highly Desired (most of below skills)
  • Background in Software Development, DevSecOps, Site Reliability, and/or Systems Engineering
  • Have experience building and deploying solutions as containers on a cloud platform using an automated CI / CD pipeline
  • Experience in configuring, monitoring and handling scaling infrastructure in cloud
  • Author best practices around provisioning production and non-production environments in cloud
  • Implemented end-to-end automated delivery pipeline for continuous application development
  • Have evaluated products/technology & created IT Roadmap for adoption
