Job Overview: Bristol Hose and Fitting is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing and wholesale distribution industry, particularly in fluid connectors and hose sales. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 3-4 outside sales representatives and 4 inside sales representatives.

1. Leadership and Team Management:

  • Effectively lead, motivate, and manage a team of outside and inside sales representatives.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

 2. Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

3.Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their unique requirements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and proactively addressing evolving needs.

4.Sales Team Development:

  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Implement performance metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve team performance.

5.Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the executive team.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 7-10 years in sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing and wholesale distribution industry, particularly in fluid connectors and hose sales.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with vendor-managed inventory services is a plus.
